Outdoor Landscaping & Snow Removal
Since 1989 CDS has held a contract with the City of Trail to provide a work crew of up to 16 people hired to assist the City Works department in ensuring the snow is removed in the winter and the streets and parks are clean and free of debris in the summer months.
The individuals hired for the CDS crews are trained on safety techniques according to WorkSafe BC standards and learn how to use gas operated tools along with other industrial type skills that can be transferred to mainstream work sites. Individuals are paid an hourly wage as well as taught about payroll deductions and how to report income.
