Employment Programs & Support
CDS has been providing employment support since 1989 offering employment support to individuals with significant barriers to employment.
Outreach & Community Inclusion Programs
CDS Outreach supports include assistance with daily living activities, whereas Community Inclusion supports center around social integration.

La Nina Shelter
The La Nina shelter provides much needed supports and services for people experiencing or are nearly in a homelessness situation in our community..
Trail Youth Centre
In March 2018, CDS took over managing the Trail Youth Centre located at 1696 2 Avenue in Trail. CDS continues to re-establish networks with other youth support providers to ensure strong collaboration is taking place as the centre moves forward under CDS Management.
Outdoor Landscaping & Snow Removal
Since 1989 CDS has held a contract with the City of Trail to provide a work crew of up to 16 people hired to assist the City Works department.
Thrifty Treasures Thrift Store
The Thrifty Treasures Thrift Store has been operated by CDS since 2005. This site supports approximately 12 individuals to build their skills and self-confidence in a thrift store setting.
Property Maintenance
CDS works with local and out of town landlords to provide support, maintenance and repairs for over 90 combined rental properties.
