The CDS’s 5th annual Coins for Change fundraiser will be on September 7th, 2018. This event is a fundraiser for our Getting to Home program: Addressing Homelessness in Greater Trail.
Staff and supporters will be sleeping under the Victoria Street Bridge on the Esplanade in Trail from 8:00pm to 8:00am. This event is not only about fundraising, but is meant to raise awareness about homelessness and joining our community together in unity around an issue that affects the entire community.
The Coins for Change pledge kits are available at 1565 Bay Avenue, call us today at 250-368-3503 or CDS at 250-364-1104 and we would be happy to drop one off for you. We also strongly encourage groups and corporate challenges as this event can be a great opportunity for team building or help strengthen friendships.
In addition, as a community member or business, when you act as a champion to end homelessness, you become an active leader in the community.
