Local Employer Acknowledgement

Through our Employment services CDS has strengthened its community support through the employer relationships developed within this program. CDS works closely with the local business community to develop relationships and strategies linking the unemployed sector to potential employers. This relationship is geared at both the employer and potential employee as CDS offers support to both when needed.

CDS Employment Counselors are often called upon by the business community to come in and provide educational information to management and staff on how to work with a diverse population. These information sessions often include providing the potential employers with practical techniques for ensuring successful employment.
