Outreach & Community Inclusion Programs
CDS is contracted by Community Living BC to provide outreach/community inclusion supports to individuals who have met the Community Living BC criteria of having a developmental disability, FASD and/or Autism and identified deficits in their adaptive functioning skills.
The Outreach supports typically include assistance with daily living activities, whereas Community Inclusion supports center around social integration and building social networks. Along with the outreach supports offered CDS/TACL also offer a variety of groups that are designed to assist individuals to build their skills and develop friendships in the community. These groups are designed to meet the demand of the individuals supported and do change over time to ensure constant growth and development.
